Cap d'Agde, 1977

A coastal modernist shoot where Ava's dress and profile move across concrete, marina edges, white galleries, and low sea haze.

Cap d'Agde gives the book its architectural counterweight. Concrete, arcade, marina, and roofline establish a severe rhythm, then Ava enters with fabric, profile, and movement at a human scale.

Palette
concrete / peach light / sea haze
Editor note
Cap d'Agde gives the monograph its hardest lines. The architecture sets the grid; Ava supplies the interruption.
Chapter Note

Cap d'Agde is arranged as a hard sequence of edges: roof, marina, gallery, dusk line, arcade, sea wall. Ava supplies the interruption without softening the place into romance.

Moving Plates

Architecture first, then the human line.

Chapter Coda

The concrete narrows into portrait.

What begins as civic surface ends beside a sea wall, where profile and glare carry the architecture at close range.
